About Phipps Equine

     Alyse Phipps is the equine professional behind Phipps Equine. She started riding horses at the age of 9 and made the decision to dedicate her future to horses at the young age of 11. Being involved with 4h, her club president, Alyse had a lot of hands on experience with horses, teamwork, volunteering, leadership, public speaking and much more. Skills she still uses today. By the age of 15, she had started training horses and purchased her own, Anna.

     Anna joined Alyse on her journey down the east coast! In 2008 they set out to explore Meredith Manor International Equestrian Centre in Waverly, WV. Anna was used in the program, Alyse was busy earning awards, many certifications and graduating with honors! After Meredith Manor Alyse worked for top trainers in every area she lived. Dressage to cutting, Massachusetts to Texas, foxhunting to jumpers, Alyse got the experiences of a lifetime, from the trainers of a lifetime!

     Alyse doesn’t only hang out on top of the horse, she has extensive knowledge of farrier work. She worked for a farrier company, giving her the opportunity to work with different farriers, with extensive background in lameness issues. Alyse has worked with many farriers and vets in the industry, ensuring her knowledge in horse health and lameness.

     Managing farms from 4 stalls to 40, with staff or without, Alyse has done it.  Barn chores to nutritional specific diets, ‘No horse goes without’ with Phipps Equine.

 

 

Experience and Education

     Alyse’s experience with horse's started at the age of 9 and her training experience at the age of 15.  Studying under Enika Lucio Shembari, also an Alumni of Meredith Manor, Alyse learned the basics of training before she set off to Meredith Manor, herself.  Alyse graduated Meredith Manor with honors. While at Meredith Manor she received her Riding Master VI, Training Level III, Equine Massage Therapy certificate and various awards including Farrier 50 Hour Award, many Barn Appreciation awards, a couple  President's List, a few Honor Roll, a few Perfect Attendance, Most Improved Rider, Outstanding Rider, Most Helpful Student awards and many more. After graduation Alyse continued her education by working with top trainers in the areas which she lived. In 2011 Alyse began foxhunting and teaching pony club lesson and rallies. After 4 seasons of hunting in the field and teaching lessons, Alyse moved to PA to manage a 40 horse facility holding the titles of barn manager, head of instruction, head of training department, head of riding and trail guide.

      Moving on from management in PA, Alyse managed multiple barns in MA since 2014-16.  Alyse was the Professional Staff at the Norfolk Hunt club, moving on to operating her own barn in her home town of North Attleboro, MA.

Services Offered by Phipps Equine

Training

     Phipps Equine offers training for to the young horse, the misbehaving horse, lesson horse ‘tune up’, the untrained horse and everything inbetween. From start to finish, Alyse will do it, disciplines of all types!

Boarding Accomidations

     Board at a professional, clean, drama-free facility in North Attleboro! The facility is equipped with a large outdoor arena, 19 stalls, heated grain and tack room, rolling pastures, hot/cold indoor wash stall, outdoor grooming area, access to trails, Trainer on property and happy boarders! Full, semi-full and training board are all available with Phipps Equine!

 

Full Board: Stall cleaning, hay and grain provided, grooming, holding for appointments such as vet or farrier, turn in and out, supervised turn outs, catering to specific needs for each horse, an educated and experienced eye to look at your equine partner daily and so much more!

 

Semi-Full: the same as a full board with the excpetion of the semi-full boarder brings their own supplies!

 

Training Board: Full/semi-full training board is available to have your training horse in work, with a professional and fully taken care of!

Horsemanship Lessons

     Services like horsemanship are to teach you how to work with your horse as a horsemen. Working with your horse is not always about the horse itself, in addition, however; not limited to, the equipment you use with the horse, how to keep yourself safe on and off the horse, the skills you need to ride and work with your horse are essential keys to being a successful horsemen.

Riding Lessons

Riding lessons are offered for the starting student through advanced student! Riding lessons teach balance, body awareness, strength, self discipline and so many more rewarding amenities! 

Riding

     Exercising the previously trained horse, tune-up on a previously trained horse and getting horse's into shape are all riding services

Clipping

There are many reasons to clip your horse, not to mention so many different styles within each clip! full, trace, blanket, bib and so many more!  Phipps Equine will work with you to find the right style for your horse, and the right blanketing schedule to go along with it! Farrier

Barefoot trimming is avalable through Phipps Equine.  Alyse has many years experience with the equine hooves.  Trimming the hoof to the proper angles and balancing the hoof is more important then most horse oweners realise.  Have Alyse help your equine to be comfortable and balanced within his own feet!  We will soon be offering shoeing!

Equine Massage Therapy

     Equine Massage Therapy is a great way to get the blood flowing through the horse properly.  Whether it is a sports massage for conditioning, a massage because your trusty steed deserves it or to help heal an injury a massage for your equine is always a great decision!
